Posts should be related to UK-centric politics, and should be either a link to a reputable news source for news, or a text post on this community.
Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.
If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread. (These things should be publicly discussed)
Posts should be manually submitted, not by bot. Link titles should not be editorialised.
Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.
Message the mods if you feel something really should be removed, or if a user seems to have a pattern of awful comments.

Same but there was also a labour surge that kept the SNP out.
Labour absolutely need to accept that this was a vote against the Tories and that they'll really need to make some positive changes that the average person can feel if they want to win the next election.
The Tories will not be chasing the labour electorate, they will be chasing reform's. If they can mop up the right vote they will be straight back in to power.
The age old Labour strategy still work, making the party palatable for business, for when the Tories drown in their own shit .
The risk I see, is that they won’t do anything anyone will notice, and they will be vulnerable to Right wing looneys next time - either in the form of Conservative Party who move to so far right as squash reform, possibly under Braverman . Imagine that.
