I almost think it's a bug, because the UI gives you two options, press the use button, or press the back button, but neither does anything different.
Yeah it feels like a weird oversight, considering it was present in Skyrim / FO3+4
Same with food. Unless I modded that and forgot about it.
At least food in Starfield is useless 😁

ive been hoarding all my food because I assume its used to craft something beneficial
Nah. Certain foods give you really good buffs.
oh yeah, if you don't need it, just hand it over, I eat the food laying around and sell the extra med packs
@twistedtxb @thesprongler I eat food all the time to gain health
I meant to eat it from the loot menu, like reading books from the loot menu. The option is missing.
