Are you actually arguing that Hamas is a legit governing entity with reasonable goals that include the well being of Palestinian citizens?

I mean yes. They're a dictatorship, don't get me wrong, and terrorists depending on who you ask, but the idea that they don't give two shits about Palestinians and want the conflict with Israel to continue forever is simply not supported by anything from the last 20 years. Hamas can best be thought of as the Palestinian version of the Troubles IRA, and while the IRA was... That I don't think you can argue that they didn't want the well being of the Irish people.

Depending who you ask?

The levels of delusion on this topic has gone wild on here.

Uh... Literally yes. They'd not considered a terrorist organization in the UN, for example. Whether Hamas is a terrorist organization was never as clear cut as the US and Israel would want you to believe. Not that it matters, but there you go.

You're willing to look at them and say you don't think they're a terrorist organization? And you expect to be taken seriously?

They're doing similar things to the IDF.

I put them both in the terrorist state category.

Both terrorists, both governments.

I mean so does the UN. Anyway I recognize they do terror, but calling them a terrorist organization would be a denunciation of all their actions, not just the terror, so they're in a weird spot.

“A mind so open their brains fell out” comes to mind.
