I hadn't heard of this. My blood is boiling and I'm filled with sadness
Having lived in France for 2 years i can say that the bureaucracy there is out of control. Paperwork upon paperwork upon paperwork to get ANYTHING done. That said, any formal notice probably took years to draft and send, and then the debrid folks probably can drag their heels for years. I'm personally not jumping ship quite yet but i'll pay month to month and wait it out.
