I think Chinese media could play a big role in promoting more consciousness of what's going on over there.

I think in the short term yeah but I wouldn't be surprised if we ban Chinese media eventually for that reason.

so it seems like LGBTQ is a lot more socially accepted in china than even many of us pro china people realize in c/chapotraphouse@hexbear.net

i am so lucky for getting to see both Fire Walk With Me and Eraserhead for the first time in a theater.

Edit: I forgot I also caught Blue Velvet for the first time in a theater too. god i love living five minutes away from a sick indie theater.
