That didnโ€™t have what I was looking for, found out the the car category effects the car xml, all sorted now I believe, fully configured xml now and I placed it in a new category. (Lemons class B)

Iโ€™ll spend far too much time tweaking it now :)

Don't forget to share it!

Take a look to these on the SD Wiki (Thanks Xavier for the tip): https://sourceforge.net/p/speed-dreams/wiki/SetupCars/

Omg ya, the beach buggy the tuktuk and a car I converted the slambo, haha Iโ€™m sure it felt longer then 11 year since I released them.

Was using a mix of inventor and ac3d to model back then.

Right now modders usually use blender with the plugin to import/export to .ac . Of course AC3D is still a good tool for modelling for SD. https://github.com/NikolaiVChr/Blender-AC3D/tree/4.1

Our migration from SVN to GIT has already started! You can now access our new repositories on http://a-lec.org/ ๐Ÿ˜ :

The repos are now open! Please feel free to play around with them, ask questions, report feedback, etc.

To avoid confusion, please keep in mind the following TODOs:

  • Migrate existing assets (tracks, driver liveries, cars) to their own repositories.
    • This can be done at a slower pace, since we can only migrate assets whose licensing is clear and fully free (as in freedom).
    • Non-free assets should be ideally hosted elsewhere.
    • Illegal assets (e.g.: those under proprietary licenses and/or violating intellectual property, such as lancer09-wr) will not be migrated.
  • Migrate existing tickets/issues from SVN to https://forge.a-lec.org/speed-dreams/.
  • Make some suggested improvements to the in-game download manager.
    • "Download all" button.
    • Filter by category (car category, track type, robot type) and quality (pre-alpha, alpha, beta, production).
