DSA (and these people on the podcast in particular) are kind of good at winning Democratic primaries. After that everything falls apart though.

Time for them the dig in and level up and win the whole thing. They did pull through for AOC tbf.

The harder they fight, the more they learn, even if the lesson is "we need to stop focusing so hard on electoralism".

I think there's a certain amount of hopelessness in our community that comes from historical knowledge of how these things tend to go. The thing for me is that I do hope we can just vote socialism in, even though I know it doesn't work that way. I think that gets lost sometimes that it would still be a good thing if Americans could just vote Lenin 2.0 to be the president of the United States.

We don't really have permabans, the usual policy is "take a break, make a new account, do better next time"

We should probably find a number, but from my memory the 90+% number includes support for forcible removal. There was the poll a few weeks ago where it was like ~60% support the killing of all inhabitants of a conquered city which is much much more than enough support to get the job done.

It's part of the playbook to induce fear and confusion in those who don't understand the situation outside of what they hear in the news

Wang is said to have rejected, however, the accusation that China was materially supporting Russia’s war effort, financially or militarily, insisting that if it was doing so, the conflict would have ended long ago.

There's a TrueAnon ep with the Twitter OP called JSUCC (referring to the JSOC - Joint Special Operations Command) that explains in detail, if you're interested.

I guess to reply to your question, it sounds like you've spent ~$820 on entry/midrange phones (probably for the best if you tend to drop them, I suppose), while I spent ~$800-1000 on my two flagship phones since then. Ends up being close to a wash, but I have the extra features a flagship phone has to offer (not that I absolutely need all that but I get incensed when technology clunks around, so it svars me some of that, at least).
