I agree. Try arguing that to a conservative judge in the south and you will simply be sent home with your abusive parent, who is likely enraged about having to defend themselves from the "law".

Acting like the problem only exists in america and there aren't similar things happening in europe will be how you fall into the same trap.

As someone that is unfortunately privy to the "locker room talk" you are absolutely right. I think I made friends with someone and then they say the absolutely most horrendous things because they feel comfortable enough to go mask off.

Actually I don't have to be ok with anyone contributing to the burning down of the planet. I feel like adults should have a better understanding of morality than simply "its against the rules and is therefore wrong".

I think you underestimate the sheer number of homophobic parents that aren't necessarily abusive but would be if their kid ever came out. There are a lot of people I've talked to that their online escape was the one thing that kept from killing themselves.

I'm not saying that it's healthy but there are a lot of kids in a situation that they can not escape from because of the way that society treats children. Children are treated as something that is closer to property than an individual when it comes to things like law enforcement and emotional abuse.

Genuinely amazing. They are easier to use than turbo tax in my experience.

I've been saving it for a rainy day. I think I'll probably start it today.

There are people at my work place that I thought that I got along with and then all of a sudden they come out with the most bigoted things that I have ever heard. I straight up do not trust any man my age at this point there are just too many of them that are "hiding their powerlevel"

I'm really tired of the only good art is the stuff that hurts your soul perspective that so many people seem to have. I am at a point where I can not watch any more depressing shows because the real world is bad enough as it is, and I see no advantage to smashing my mental health into a wall to watch a show that makes a point that I probably already agree with.

The sheer amount of stress that existing in the modern day causes for most people is significantly more medically significant to caffeine addiction, and a lot of it is people finding an escape from their work by getting a coffee.

I assume the best intentions of people that haven't repeatedly proven that they do not have the best of intentions. Telsa has repeatedly shown that they are willing to break the law to accomplish something they want and this isn't a huge step farther all things considered.

Never attribute to malice or stupidity that which can be explained by moderately rational individuals following incentives in a complex system.

We really are a police state.
