Are they though? I have about 75% of them so far and it's admittedly been a while since I played the first one, but most of them seem to have the same basic effects.

The keepsakes having art placeholders confuses me. Why didn't they just reuse the keepsake art from the first one?

Good point. Then they'll be screaming about the rise of piracy again.

Plus you're not locked into contracts and bundles. See a show you like on Netflix - subscribe, binge, cancel.

I rotate through all the services like this.

Fucking corpo talk. No they didn't shutter the studios, they just fired everyone who makes up the studio.

Ignoring the question about whether the cost is reasonable, it's going to be interesting to see what happens to gas stations / convenience stores when the ability to charge your car is basically everywhere.

The only reason we need gas stations is for the specialized infrastructure required to safely hold the fuel. Mass EV adoption is going to kill their business model.

No, no, no....see, when big corporations do it that's called "lobbying" not "bribes".

It's funny how hard it is for providers to get this concept. I feel we're about to enter the cycle where we see an uptick in mainstream piracy because the price is starting to outweigh the convenience and legality.

Russia has a history of bombing its own people for propaganda.

Exactly! I especially like your point about T2. I don't think it's wrong to put a lot of money behind a AAA game, but there needs to always be a balance weighted toward the creative/entertainment value (whether it's innovative game mechanics or story driven).

Once that balance shifts to the business side by focusing on recouping the investment is when a project is at risk for not being received well.

I think all gamers are ok with studios making a profit on their games, but don't try to fleece us.
