In my opinion, only turning to China is not enough. Diversifying is good, but in the same time, nothing "under control" is built, your stability depends on diplomacy and in this case, and it is a big weakness (this is how Xi made Trump bending with rare earth)

Let's shutdown the current EU, can only be shitty neo liberal bullshit. Let's build something new, not mainly built on whiteness to be a part of

In France, one of the arguments is that they will leave the country (if we nationalize what they left behind, good ridance) so depending on why there would be no more billionaires, it could be true in a sense.

Truth is, they would not flee this much

Something that should not be forgotten is that hardware matters to. If Nvidia, Intel or AMD has an interdiction to sell to a country, you can have all the FLOSS software (Fair, Libre and Open), if you have no hardware then tough shit. China is getting good GPU with a shiton of investments, so Europe needs to do the same. Using RiscV for this would allow to have an instruction set that already have nice support (I even heard it can be used for GPU) to bring nice or newer stuff to the table. For manufacturing, a Netherland company is producing the tools of TSMC so there is that, at least.

The thing is, in french resources, libertarian communism and anarcho-communism seem to be quite intertwined. I don't know enough to tell if and how much they are different

They also did it in Europe

Coming from the same media... Maybe this community needs a bot to at least be able to place a media on the right left spectrum (as limited as it is)

And to answer the question : because event in an okay country it is scary as fuck, but in Trump land it is fucking dangerous for your life and if you will know you will die, at least with suicide you control it. Being horrifically murdered is worse if you consider deat unescapable.

Usually after the back, you go to university, study three years L1, L2, L3 to get a License (otherwise you have education credits) and then 2 years (M1, M2) to get a Master, same note for the credits. If you dropped out after M1, you don't have a master and it seems to be illegal according to another post on the French Fediverse.

Hi all !

As of today, I am running my services with rootless podman pods and containers. Each functional stack gets its dedicated user (user cloud runs a pod with nextcloud-fpm, nginx, postgresql...) with user mapping. Now, my thought were that if an attack can escape a container, it should be contained to a specific user.

Is it really meaningful ? With service users' home setup in /var/lib, it makes a lot of small stuff annoying and I wonder if the current setup is really worth it ?

As the title says. I put the wrong value inside a clean up code and I wiped everything. I did not push any important work. I just want to cry but at least I can offer it to you.

Do not hesitate to push even if your project is in a broken state.

Hi everyone! I make this post to ask : how to get a ryzen 7 5700X3D to post on a MSI B450 Gaming pro carbon AC?

The thing is I am upgrading from a ryzen 5 2600 to a ryzen 7 5700X3D but I can't get the mother board to POST. The system posts properly with the ryzen 5 and I already cleared the CMOS, and the BIOS is up to date.

Hey people ! How do you do ? I am posting because in recent time I had troubles with easyeffects. The UI is buggy such as frequent crash when adding effects, it's impossible to save any preset and the input fields are buggy (I also can't type anything in them). Am I the only one or is it more spread ? (I installed via pacman and have trouble on tumbleweed too but less)

Edit: It appears that only some input fields on some modules (like frequency settings for the filter module or the bass enhancer) are buggy and it is a pain in the ass to setup the frequency from text files as once I save them they disappear from easyeffects. I tried easyeffects 7.2.0, flatpak but still buggy. I guess I will wait for the qt rewrite and hope that those bugs are only from the UI

Hi people. I am running pihole under podman and its dedicated system account on my NAS. Now, from the NAS, I get a connection refused on ip.of.the.nas:53 but everywhere else in my network, pihole works perfectly. To run pihole as a rootless container, i made it listen on 1053 and I have a firewall redirection from 53 to 1053 for both udp and tcp. Any pointer to where (and how) I can debug this ?

Edit: Small precision about my current setup : ISP router (so I can't really do anything on it) and NAS running opensuse leap

Hello everyone, I have some questions and need food for thought about clamAV. First, do you use it and why ? If yes, how are you running it ? I plan to maybe use it for nextcloud (and *arr stack later)
