And if you use one, are you happy with it?

I'm trying to get more into privacy and security and VPN is currently a struggle for me (and it seems also for some people in my social circle). It's mostly cost, effectiveness, but also connection issues (not being able to connect to servers, not reaching websites, sometimes slower speed.

It affects us all. Our future looks bleak, not only theirs.

Even if we got to enjoy the good times a bit.

There’s no safe way to approach a manchineel tree, as every part of it is toxic. One touch is enough to cause severe skin irritations and eye injuries that can leave you temporarily blind. Simply standing under a manchineel tree while its raining can even cause pain. It’s also a bad idea to burn its lumber, as the smoke is harmful as well.

From the article.

China is the child amongst toddlers.

In this analogy. Children and toddlers would likely do much better than the current adults.

They are, of course, right in their statement. But why do all those scientists still believe that one more statement will do any good? We've had 6 IPCC reports and thousands of papers and guides for policy makers and such. We do not have an information problem, we have an action problem. If they want to stand for science, they need to actually stand and not just write. It's ironically rather unscientific to keep doing things that have not worked in the past.

They should look at Peter Kalmus, for example. He's doing good.

She is the beacon of hope for humanity. She stands for the values that represent the best in us. And she not only tells us how it is, she leads the way.

That would be amazing. Unfortunately, there will very likely be no aliens to do it. We'll have to do it ourselves.

Very good. We should all join/support them.

Müsste die Mutter nicht jetzt 19 sein, damit sie in 6 Jahren 25 sein wird? Dann wäre sie aber nur 20 Jahre älter als das Kind.

m=21+k

m+6=5*(k+6)=5k+30

-> m=5k+24

-> 5k+24=21+k

-> 4k=-3 (wenn die Mutter 20 Jahre älter wäre, wäre hier 4k=-4, also k=-1)

-> k=-3/4=-9 Monate

Also "genau" zur Zeugung (wenn man von exakt 9 Monaten bis zur Geburt ausgeht).

Just like the blue whales, they are now turning silent as their natural habitat is dying.
