IMO, it's not because of that shit sucks, but because humans have willingly given up their supposed "freedoms" for the sake of socializing, as was the case in the days before "YouTuber" was any sort of job title. See, back in the early days, people uploaded videos to YouTube for fun and actually used their freedom of speech. It's because people, in general, did not have much of a "fuck you" attitude when it became known that YouTube was censoring creators that things have gotten to where they are today. Could've had a resistance, but nope.
