Idk about that companies that use toxic stuff always deny its toxic, then if forced to admit it's toxic say it is in amounts too small to affect you.

I certainly would not take their word for it or people they pay to say so.

It has real effects on coral reefs and other areas where people swim and have it wash off in. And there are a range of endocrine disruptors in lots of goods that do have real effects on people even if not quite noticeable. Amphibians are particularly sensitive to them and can wipe out populations in the low parts per billions.

You cannot blame representative government for imperialism, that happened under the absolute monarchs more than any.

Imperialism is not a thing of the west either, all cultures have had these problems. If able a group will eventually subjugate others.

Look at mongals, mughals, islamists, ottomans, russia, imperial china, etc. All imperialist as far as they could as autocracies.

Those suburban kids emulate street gangs while the leaders of those street gangs emulate the fathers of those suburban kids in the corporate structure.

Consumer Reports is not a bad place to start.

There are toxin concerns in sunscreen too, some use endocrine disruptors like oxybenzone. Bad for you and where you swim.

Not mentioned is the active ingredients in your sunscreen, many being endocrine disruptors like oxybenzone.

The ones that physically block with like titanium and aluminum compounds are best for not flooding your body and waters you swim in with hormone disrupting chemicals, especially damaging in coral reefs.

Regardless the accused have a right to defend themselves in court, the authorities do not establish guilt juries do. In or out of the us, citizen or no.

Unless self defense, they are not calling that specifically to set precedent of extrajudicial killing with armed forces. Next stop stateside.

The US will disregard international law. The US also never ratified the un law of the sea.

[–] hector@lemmy.today 2 points 2 hours ago

US citizens are innocent until proven guilty. We do not allow our leaders to Proclaim guilt and execute even if it is overseas. We should have the same policy for foreigners as well. Anybody who thinks they can trust our politicians and leaders to execute people based on their own reasoning is quite mistaken.

You're not talking about what esteem we hold the government's in, or they're assorted ills. We are talking about the structure of government, being representative, or being autocratic. You can say but those representative governments were mean! No shit? That is not what is an issue here. You could discount any event from history with the logic you are trying to use here.
