Np, replied to your message !

Thank you, that would be kind and in the monero spirit !
It seems that one of the r/Monero mods is also removing comments if dawnswap is mentioned. I commented on your original dawnswap announcement post couple of days ago to mention the latest release notes in a few lines but shortly after post it was gone. (not Reddit autofilters as those kick in only with make a post without enough karma) :( Hope if there are other r/Monero mods they can check this and why such comment is removed. At the end for Monero to be what it needs to be we need to work together like here.
Great initiative, hope more people join mining as we speak !
Yes, we've added a modest comment to this post since we can't create new posts ourselves:
https://www.reddit.com/r/Monero/comments/1m2guuz/new_haveno_network_dawnswap/
Reddit filters keep deleting any new post automatically so we're limited to add comments to existing posts until at some point Reddit AI decides a post can be allowed :) Ofcourse if there are r/Monero mods here reading this any advise is always appreciated.
The good news is that this is already in our version working. You can run other Haveno instances side by side. If you do encounter an issue please let us know here or report an issue on our github or reach out to our simplex group.
Greetings Monero Town !
A couple of updates concerning Haveno Dawnswap;
- We've released version 1.2.0a which has an auto update check option available to notify you when there is a new release. This option can be enabled / disabled as you wish.
- All files on our Github have their sha256 checksums stored in the file sha256checksums.sig which is clear signed by our official public pgp key .
- We are also calling on the Monero community, traders and whoever sees the importance of why Monero exists to offer their trade services on our Haveno Dawnswap instance.
On the same note, with ongoing developments like the attack on Monero, unity and cooperation is critical to strengthen Monero as it is the only crypto which has what it takes to give people and businesses a fighting chance to live / function more free and be selfsufficient in a world where everything is weaponized for total control.
No problem, we'll try to provide also updates there. Reddit is a bit of a pain as for new accounts their auto-filters are deleting posts just like that or otherwise it's the infamous educational error saying "Something went wrong ..." when trying to login. Wish more people would migrate away to platforms like these. Sent last week also a private message to the #monero mods.
Thank you and appreciated !
Good catch about the fees, we clarified these here and also on the official sites.
You're most welcome to send a private message or post here to explain the history you're talking about or provide some resources to read, that is always interesting. For the rest, we're focussing on the present and the future to do something good and be part of the monero community. No bad intent here and it was expected that we would be grilled when going public. Thanks anyway for your input !
I'm afraid that is incorrect and it would be better if one of the core Haveno project devs if they're around provide an official word on this and prevent confusion. In the meantime here are some links on the official Haveno-dex github showing how lively this is and important to have Haveno instances and progress to for example federation. Not only good for the ecosystem resiliency by having decentralized Haveno instances but also tackle the issue of fragmentation.
https://github.com/haveno-dex/haveno/issues/901 https://github.com/haveno-dex/haveno/issues/1771 and more if you search
Also from the official haveno.exchange website faq you can follow the logic of the q/a, it is not intended to be used for 1 network (which is a single point of failure as you know).

Monerobull, i enjoy reading some of your posts on Reddit and that you're very active in the Monero community. I hope you understand this is not the way to attack a new initiative by trying to corner people to 1 service. It is completely against the Haveno Network initiative and intention of the developers who put in blood, sweat and tears to get that off the ground. Mark my words, we need decentralization, choice and more cooperation in the community.
A bit late to the question, but you can also use our Haveno instance dawnswap.com as the lowest amount to buy is 0.02 xmr. If you don't have xmr for the security deposit which is 5 % then let me know by PM and i'll provide you a passphrase for a trade order you can use to buy xmr without deposit.
