Sounds a bit like the linux container in chromebooks. Looks like Google is planning to merge chrome os and android in future

Is replacing batteries common for hybrid cars?

Most batteries last about 1000+/- cycles, so person driving a plug-in hybrid car mostly electric might face a bad battery after only three years (assuming daily full charge). This is just my personal calculation, I've never really heard any reports on this issue.

When the switch was released, everyone already had a smartphone capeable for gaming. This was not the case in 2004.

If I understood the original PDF correctly, this contains all models of the generation. This applies also to the different GBA models.

At least in europe, there are some strong trends towards cheaper EVs in general. One example is the Volkswagen id.3, that is now available for under € 30.000.

But the range argument is also true: Almost any car comes with a 50 kwh battery these days (in europe at least).

This article claims that battery prices in China are already below the figure that Goldman Sachs expects by 2030:

The prices of lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries in China have decreased by 51 percent over the past year. The average price per kilowatt-hour has fallen to $53, compared to the global average of $95 per kilowatt-hour last year, according to Bloomberg.

$53 per kwh is roughly $3000 for a typical, small battery (50-60 kwh).

There are some legitimate attacks on MFA, like stealing cookies. But in most cases, MFA is solid and attackers target the humans behind it (phishing, scamming, social engineering).

Not really a MFA bypass, but rather some impressive social engineering:

The attacker leverages AI-generated deepfakes to create a synthetic identity complete with a forged government document (e.g., passport) and a facial recognition bypass video.

They use this identity to gain access to the account, if I understood it right.

Really? At least 90% of packets I get are deposited without signature.

I think it is necessary to make a difference between delivering cheap stuff and a new iPhone or laptop.

Hello fellow Linux gamers,

Is there a way to pause or suspend games and turn off the PC similar to how the Steam Deck handles it? Or is this functionality exclusive to the Steam Deck?

I'm using Arch btw, but feel free to share solutions for other distros as well.

I came across Nyrna, but it seems to only support X11 and not Wayland, according to the description.

Reason for this meme is that some ubisoft titles are shipped with a broken version of ubisoft connect launcher. Installing these games is only possible by running the installer for the launcher again via protontricks.

This is the major release of Cemu 2.1 with a cumulative changelog which includes the changes from all 93 experimental releases since Cemu 2.0.

This release also is the first release of Cemu on Linux that is not marked as experimental.

The release was a few days ago, I didn't notice until today.
