How does an offshore wind farm relate to health and human services in any way? Even if you believe the lie that the turbines cause cancer for people who live near them, these are offshore, so there shouldn’t be any health impact.
If only there was something that could be done to prevent the corrosion, like coating them or using them inside a sealed mechanism. It’s not trumps job to tell engineers who are infinitely more intelligent than him how to do their job.
It could be because he said it like this:
“You know, the new thing is magnets. So instead of using hydraulic that can be hit by lightning and it’s fine. You take a little glass of water, you drop it on magnets, I don’t know what’s going to happen.”
He STILL thinks this somehow after saying it like 18 months ago too. I don’t know how no one told him he sounds like a fucking moron after the first time he said it publicly.
I had to look at the publication date on that article three times because I thought that there was no way he’s that stupid that he’s still saying this after he said it the first time years ago. Surely someone explained to him how magnets work by now, but nope, the article is from a few days ago, and he has again proven that his stupidity knows no bounds.
I agree, but their argument is that by not allowing people of that age, that demographic then loses their representation in government.

If people who can’t afford them stopped paying for new cars and just bought cars they can afford and everyone agreed to never pay dealer markups, car companies wouldn’t be so brazenly pushing prices higher.
