And it's not the first time NYT has run a direct propaganda piece. They have to do this once in a while for the Israeli government to reassert its hegemony over the narrative.

Yes, I know mediabiasfactcheck.com says NYT is excellent but that's just a reflection on mediabiasfactcheck.com.

I know they were funded in part by Israel to destroy Palestinian unity and give Israel an excuse to kill more Palestinians and take their land, but was Hamas really created by Israel?

What's the credibility of mediabiasfactcheck.com?

Did you read that page yet?

Israelis domestically and abroad have primarily called for the return of hostages held by Hamas.

Some of the protests were

  • Protest against humanitarian aid

  • Pro-war protests

Nothing remotely about peace or anti-genocide, or even to protest against what Israel is doing in Gaza, in fact:

On 9 November, Israeli police arrested former MK Mohammad Barakeh in Nazareth for attempting to organize an anti-war protest.[53]

The reason you have not seen "Israelis who have the courage to protest against what Israel is doing in Gaza" in the news is that it's not happening.

Jews, on the other hand, have been getting locked up in droves (and since the beginning of the latest offensive) protesting Israel's actions.

allowing the scraping and evading X's own anti-scraping technology.

I wonder why evading anti-scraping technology is not treated like bypassing DRM or the DMCAs anti-circumvention rules.

Not only do they make Hamas look like the good guys, Israel has put the world into a position where Iran, a nation run by theocratic despots who brutalize women and sponsor terror, is the calmer actor in international missle attacks!

Zionists are using Jews as human shields. Actual Judeophobic incidents have increased in the past half year solely because of Israel's actions, and I realized this when I saw a headline about a man that raped a Jewish woman "to avenge Palestine". Also the agent provocateurs that the Israel lobby has been sending to college campuses create distrust among student groups, especially toward Jewish members. It's a very sick act. Some groups that counter that negative force, though, are If Not Now and Jewish Voices for Peace.

Btw, it's refreshing to read some sane, reality-based takes, so thank you guys for that.

Lol yea, but do you see the contradiction between

In those 75 years, many Israeli people were born on this land, and it really is their home.

and a state being established through the ethnic cleansing of Palestine? Israel spends a lot of money on PR to whitewash that.

Apparently if you think the murder of a boy from hundreds of yards away is wrong, you're "pro-Hamas". They're really working hard to make Hamas look like the good guys.

It's kind of eerie how none of the protester's demands address the genocide of Palestinians.

So you're saying that Israel has no right to exist?
