Oh my god, I'm so exhausted. I haven't posted for a while because work has been a nightmare. I've come home at like 10pm every day and passed out, then gone back into work for 9am. Walking my dog after dark has been pretty eventful though, there's definitely some "characters" who also walk their dog at this time. I nearly ended up in an argument with this one guy the other day but thankfully I managed to defuse things, he's constantly making rude remarks though. Frankly if things had gone south he would have crushed me like a twig. His dog is also something like five times the size of mine too, so I felt all round inadequate, and the put-downs didn't help.

Jesus, I wish I had a better work life balance. I'm stuck working 60 hours a week supervising a stupid little convenience store, when I'm finally free I barely have the energy to do basic things. I work, I walk my dog, I eat a garbage ready meal, I sleep. And repeat ad nauseam. God, I would love for something interesting to happen. I find myself daydreaming of the store being robbed at gunpoint, and I heroically fight them off. Maybe that's a little too much excitement though.
Possibly for the sake of completion, though I'd sooner just stop after the first one. I've never been able to get into the others. Work commitments mean a marathon is pretty unlikely to be possible anyway.
What film are you planning to watch?
Sorry, I didn't get to respond to you before the thread was locked. I've been on a bit of a Keanu Reeves kick lately, so I ended up watching Speed. I fell asleep before watching a second film.
How do people feel about Constantine? Specifically the 2005 film starring Keanu Reeves, that is. My understanding is that critics at the time didn't like it, but I'm a big fan. I will admit I've never read the comics, nor have I ever watched the Constantine TV show or The Sandman. But on its own merits I think it's a very strong performance from Reeves - or at the very least it's a role well-suited to him - and an underrated gem of his career.
