Look, I agree with all of that.
But you cannot argue that identity politics were a factor in 2024. It explicitly wasn't.
Just slightly more people (who bother to vote) than who don't. Doesn't make it 100%, it's not rocket science.
Harris very explicitly avoided anything to do with identity politics in her campaign.

Well firstly prices just won't go down, but also the sheer amount of insane horrible shit that would need to happen makes me skeptical that "a majority" of Americans would be on board. He barely scraped by with a third of the population in votes, and was immediately horribly unpopular.
Also just fucking stupid ignorant assholes who know absolutely nothing other than the TV and their pastor and their radio tell them everyday that DEI is bad.
