To get the same shape in logarithmic scale it would be tan(log(x)) - but desmos can't display images when logarithmic scale is active.

Also, you can post images onto desmos?!

yup :D it's very fun to just chose an image and just make outlines from functions

I don't have a Lemmygrad account, yet sicko-wistful so I'll post this here: I was wondering what curve describes the edge between the dark area and the light area and from just trying out different stuff tan(x) seems to be the closest (though I'm not 100% sure) https://www.desmos.com/calculator/4vdslt4lz8
