You know what we need? The government sans Judiciary branch to be run by unpaid people. The President? Yeah, he also has to work a normal 9 to 5. Congress? Same deal. Judiciary branch is paid because they have to deal with the absolutely shitty job of interpreting legalese and ruling on major things. And Law school is expensive as fuck.

Maybe if Congress had to work with the layperson and deal with their struggles we would have significantly less shitty laws passed that benefit the people at the top, and hurt everyone else. Because Congress wouldn't be any different than a regular Joe.

Coles isn't even a small store! It's basically the Target of Australia, with Woolies being Walmart.

Coles is part of a duopoly with Woolies in Australia, so... They aren't small by any means.

That and, arguably being in prison is better for someone than going hungry. You get clothes, 3 meals a day, and a shower.

At that point I'd just chalk it up to Starfield being very hard to run so whatever server runs Starfield over XCloud is being heavily taxed.

Wired Internet would help to fix the Cloud issue. I can reliably play XCloud games on PC, Series X, and Mobile on my WiFi 6 connection, and even on 5G with my phone, but YMMV.

I'm loving the game for it being finally a Bethesda game in a setting I actually enjoy.

And, No Man's Sky tickles a completely different itch for me.

It's an engine limitation. The Engine that Bethesda holds onto with an iron fist is what hampers their games.

However, the opposite side of the coin is, that it makes them super easy to modify, so people can make their own additions. Because Starfield is using the same engine as Skyrim and Fallout 4.

When you say it like that... God bless America this whole system is doomed.

Well, I'd rather the day be sooner than later. Also, this is why you have... Backup servers and development environments. You don't just flick the Switch randomly one day after code is made. You run months and months of simulated transactions on the new code until you get an adequate amount of bugs fixed.

There will come a time when these old COBOL machines will just straight die, and they can't be assed to keep making new hardware for them. And the programmers will all die out too. And then your shit out of luck. I'd rather the last few remaining COBOL programmers help translate to some other long lasting language before they all kick the bucket and not after.
