I use the coffee grinders at WinCo regularly in AZ. I'm surprised to not see many other comments saying so! They also have a fantastic bulk section. I hope it never goes away.

Are you calling non tippers the assholes, and not the business owners or practice of tipping in general? Tipping is out of control and a stupid obligation as it is currently being used.

Typical, but not required! If it was required they would probably write bullshit anyway, but this is not even the minimum of standards they are trying to uphold. A supreme joke of a court.

I have been reading through this book on the matter: The Half Has Never Been Told: Slavery and the Making of American Capitalism by Edward E. Baptist https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/14894629-the-half-has-never-been-told

The descriptions of violence toward slaves is heavily discussed and is quite eye-opening to me, since this is not the version I was taught in school!

You are ignoring the propaganda and corruption these folks experienced their entire lives, in a time where media was even more tightly controlled than it is now. This generalization and attack on an age group (not mine, I'm millennial) misses the entire point in my opinion. Getting mad at boomers is not in any way helping, especially as it relates to this article. People have been fooled their entire lives and I feel bad for all of us.

The young people will be the new boomer scapegoat soon enough. The latest generations are not immune to propaganda and corruption from politics.

Any other insult around the facts of what he said or did would be much more helpful than this.

Sure, I just can't help but imagine how I personally would react if this became common for all patients.

However, Reddit executives have noticed that traffic coming from Google has limited value, as users seeking answers to a specific question often don't convert into becoming active Redditors, the people said. Now, Reddit is engaging with product teams at Google in hopes of finding ways to send more of its users deeper into its ecosystem of community forums, according to the executives.

What does this even mean (I'm afraid to know their suggestions)? So I check reddit for an answer if web search is failing me, and they're going to somehow trap me there? Tease an answer and not show anything until I sign in? Idk but sounds like I'll be using "-site:reddit.com" more and more, or realizing I dont care enough to get the answer!

I think I would be offended if some robot came up to try and provide emotional support. Its fake, and reminds me that our society values profit over human life. This should not be normalized as a necessity due to missing money that is going to the pockets of administrators, owners, insurance, and whoever else...this is pathetic.

Nothing in the image itself, but someone else posted this link: https://www.chicagotribune.com/2025/09/19/tear-gas-protesters-broadview-ice/

Curtis Evans, of Evanston, carries a U.S. flag through gas deployed by federal officers as they clear protesters from the entrance of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility in Broadview on Sept. 19, 2025. Evans said he was a Marine during President Ronald Reagan’s term. (Stacey Wescott/Chicago Tribune)

I turned off copilot in the outlook settings and the UI refuses to remove the icon. The icon flashes in full color, next to other things I use, before then going grey/disabled, but its impossible to remove it. So it shoves it in your face every day even after you already learned how much it sucks. Fucking worthless software and UI design going on at Microsoft.
