Of course more routes are better, I've taken Cisco classes in the past, I'm just commenting on the packaging of "security".

Yep, this is I. I have a terrible min-max disease. Also, sometimes I forget to play a game for a while and then I don't remember the story line leading up to where I am in the game, and then I have to play from the start again. That's why it took me like 3 years and many restarts to get through Witcher 3.
Aaand that's how statistics work. But you should always be wary of the sample size! Especially in comparison to the "thing", like if 1000 people were asked questions and they came from India, that'd be a really bad survey.
The Witcher is very specific about who Geralt is, and even Mass Effect starts from a fairly defined background.
Very good point.
I'm obviously just going on 2nd hand accounts, but because of how different this sequel is to the first game, I can certainly see why fans are disappointed. They did do such a good job at creating a world for so many possibilities in the first game, and to just replace that with a more linear experience, well I'd be pissed too.
Technically there is the 5th option, letting the dialogue "time out" aka just remaining quiet. That's what I've leaned on the most. Because yeah, those moments of cringe stay with you.
Unfortunately I have aphantasia, so all I get is this dumb dialogue wheel with 3 skill check options I can't pass and one really dumb option.
Reminds me a bit of the evolution of the eye
I watch at most 5 a day. And most days 0. I guess that's the advantage of desktop, the controls aren't dumbed down to just flicking my finger across the screen.
I did consider taking a screenshot before the edit from POW to POV, but eh.
This is just as shocking as if Hillary Clinton said she'd run again. Whatever DNC wants, they get. As long as it's not a candidate that could threaten the ratchet effect, meaning banning anyone left of the center which is ever moving right. So no AOC, no Bernie and no Mamdani.
