Are you supposed to be able to hear your microphone in your headphones even when no programs are open? in c/pcmasterrace@lemmy.world

When you go to your sound settings and then playback and then your current speaker: is the volume off the Microphone setting zero or is ihr muted?

How I accidentally wiped my server by having a typo in my Nextcloud docker config in c/selfhosted@lemmy.world

Test your backup/restore procedures regularly. An untested backup is as good as no backup.
