Is it possible to sharpen with a higher grit. Like 4k/6k if my knife is quite dull and has some chips? A colleague lend me his stone, but it seems very fine, so either my technique is bad, or it's too fine to sharpen my knife.

So what should I look for when buying a sharpening stone? I was planning to buy one to sharpen the knives we have at home, but not sure what I should get and where to get one for a decent price.

To use the discounts?
It used to be pretty good, being able to get a full week if meals for 20 dollars or so. But now the discounts are spread over multiple boxes and it’s not really worth it anymore

Yeah, it’s a weird situation. Any idea where I can find these patches or what terms I soils search for to find them myself?

Yeah, seems like a rather basic feature.

I can adjust to some variation in scroll speed. But in some applications it's just too fast to be usable. I ended up changing my scroll speed settings in firefox to already have that covered.

about:config that I use now:

Yeah, seems like it. I was hoping I could configure the touchpad via xinput or libinput. But I didn't find anything yet that works for this laptop.

I recently bought an asus zenbook 14 (AMD version) and the scroll speed of the touch pad is quite fast.

Does anybody know how to change this?

I'm using Nixos 24.05, Gnome/Wayland

Do you mean 'pores instead of gills' ? I think all mushrooms produce spores, no?

What does this mean in practice? You don't get a post-caffeine crash if you take it together with L-theanine?

ok, so seems like I will have to use a double bang then. It does not seem match ddg bangs 1:1 though. And some don't seem to be working correctly on my instance (E.g. !!mc for metacritic redirects to the wrong page)

[–] NationProtons@sh.itjust.works 1 points 4 months ago

I use the closest one to me from searx.space. I suppose hosting an instance yourself will give you the best response times, but it always still takes a moment while it searches through multiple search engines. If you only care about the results of one engine (e.g. google) then you could disable the others. Might speed it up a bit.

I didn't know that, very useful. I suppose this is only for using other search engines like google, bing, etc... right?

Or can it also search immediately on other websites like metacritic, rotten tomatoes by using bangs?

Ublacklist works with searx? Good to know, I want to try this myself.

Your search results must be so clean and useful.
