I saw that! It definitely makes for a compelling option. While I'm a bit saddened that there seems to be more support for Nvidia than AMD (if I'm reading it correctly), that isn't something I'm not accustomed to.
That's sound reasoning, thank you. I'm making the assumption that it will be lighter on resources, but I do recall the Ubuntu forums being invaluable when I was running it, so that is definitely a good consideration.

I have dvds with the original trilogy. The only person I've let borrow them works for a film archive, so I knew they have the correct respect. Anyone else can watch them at my house. My video and audio is probably better than theirs anyway.
That's specific to Massachusetts police. If these were federal, they wouldn't be beholden to that statute, as it only applies to the commonwealth filing charges of resisting arrest. There is no federal law or statute requiring they identify themselves or agency. That being said, a lawyer likely could prove to a jury an individual was acting reasonably given the information available to them by resisting. That hangs on the hope that you survive the encounter and make it to a court. This is really a rock and a hard place scenario, particularly given the number of masked officers present. Everyone will have to make the call that they can live with or die by in the moment.

To all my POC, this is an example of how the whites and their institutions can not be trusted. This is why you must band together, create and/or join mutual aid organizations. Band together, even if there are cultural/ethnic/racial devices between us, because the whites will always come for us or stand aside when their brethren do. This is most important now that we're facing the final stages of a fascist takeover. Be united, be prepared, and stay safe.
I'm not entirely sure what edition I have, as I didn't seek them out. They were a gift. There was a funny incident that caused a friend to seek them out and gift them to me.
I will admit, they aren't the best in the audio/visual department in comparison to other releases I have from that era. I'll definitely check that out. Thank you for the recommendation!
