apathy, blissful ignorance , "as long as its not affecting me, why do i care?" that was the general attitude of the people that dint vote this election. anecdotally , its also from the most persecuted groups, lgbtq+

the NAZIs actually based some of thier systems on the americans racist policies, like segegation and what not. and we never actually eradicated our nazis sympathesizers from the 40s, they just passed it on to the next gen and the next after that.

yes, im betting in return reddit gets to use google and open AI, to do ban moderation(hence the ban with no reason why you ban)

subcultures, theres more than one. depending on the sub too.

i got banned for reporting "too much" according to mod, so ban your whole acct if they feel like it, no reason why the other users shouldnt be reported, other than "we feel like you reported too much or your report doesnt fit the violations, when it clearly does", so hypocritical for some mods,. medical subs had CP issues for a while, til the mods had to step in to stop people from posting thier privates, and getting inappropiate PRIVATE messages to underaged users. theres also siginificant /morbid curiosity of self-harm individuals too.

I was pointing out how israeli was the aggravating factor, and the instigator of the war, slapped witha full account suspension for a whole week. apparnelty they also keep track of your previous accounts that were banned too, even if you avoid the sub, these recent ban waves caught many off guard.

they started banning aggressively, and not really giving people a chance at thier appeals, thats what drove alot of people to lemmy, and to other forums. im also in a forum "about ban evasion", actually more or less for people like the acc trying to make money off OF or advertisements.

nah, they just give some more power to the 92 powermods, the ones that own 500 subs, to control the content, and probably gatekeep which subs will be paywalled.

or looking through pinetrest to identfy a plant, object they couldnt do it on a google search, ive done that when trying to identify a plant species, or a cultivar.

they have hundreds or thousands of accts set up, and its easier for them to evade reddit bans, because a country is providing all the neccessary services to evade(changing the ips, devices and what not)

and reddits was going after the lowest hanging fruits, the of accounts and indiscriminately banning people. they do almost next to nothing against organized troll farms like these.

yea we were all there, people are too addicted to reddit to leave it, even when they revealed a paywall plan people arnt going to leave it, until they get banned from the site.
