I live in the west and the anti-indian sentiment is rolled in with local racist stereotypes. I've seen content of white settlers and Chinese people jointly complaining that capital cities have turned into 'little India'. If I see another xhs user call an Indian person A3 istg

Yep. Natsocs/patsocs/la rouchites and more recently MAGA communist in the USA are western chauvanists cut from the same cloth. They're unopposed and unpersecuted 'pseudo-leftists' that are to the best I can tell propped up to divert revolutionary discontent away from capitalism and towards an ill-defined 'elite'. In so doing, making it easier for actually anti-capitalist projects and groups within the imperial core to be lumped in together and smeared as right-wing conspiracy.

I think it's been generalised to 'facing the unexpected-to-me-but-obvious-to-everyone-else consequences of my actions sooner than anticipated'

So the marker for possession ي is pronounced similar to the i like the i in sit? Are all possessive markers attached to the end of a word? (No need to go into depth if that's gunna be a later lesson)

typing the first letter of characters for an abbreviation isn't american laziness, Chinese speakers frequently do it too, and it's an easy way of typing common words with Pinyin input, for e.g. typing XHS brings up a list of words including tomato (xihongshi), vibrant red (xian hongse) and Xinhua news agency (xinhua she)
