THANK YOU!!! People fucking love to say things like "just leave the country" and not provide any further details like "where a person with no university degree can get a work permit" because a regular passport does not allow that! Kind of an important thing to get get sent back to this garbage heap. And under the table work for cash does not count. Never mind that unless there is a complete collapse no one from the USA will ever be able to apply for asylum elsewhere and even then I would still doubt it. Even in the skilled trades, you are still unwanted by the rest of the world. If I could just sell everything and leave it would have been done a long time ago.
its even harder if you dont have a degree. The only people who really can get out are white collar types. Trade certs dont mean too much abroad + you have to have a job offer before you can get a work permit in most places ive looked at.
