It's just a minor luxury IMO. Using body wash is as much about making your skin feel nice and letting you smell something pleasant in the shower as it is about getting clean. Dish soap isnt much cheaper and it takes months to get through one bottle of body wash.
You can also make it stretch farther by putting it on a loofah or a washcloth.
