Which makes sense, yes. I'm saying, since the start of the thread, that the chart title, the bar labels, and the text on the statista page are conflicting with each other which makes the whole thing look unprofessional.

Well you say that, but your name is Dirt_Owl not Dumb_Owl so jot that down. To quote the chart

12 people were murdered by their employer

3,527 people were killed by an acquaintance compared to 1,674 who were killed by a stranger.

so the bar titles denote the killer not the victim. I'm confused cat-confused

I may be misreading the statistics, but shouldn't "relationship of victim to offender" imply that the Wife category denotes 563 wives of killers?? I don't know if the chart got something turned around somewhere.
