... Why were we allowing items into the country that were shipped through an uninhabited island to begin with? Like, that should be the red flag... They should treat it like losing your parking garage ticket, you pay the top rate.

Let that man be a grandpa for like 5 mins...

That's a very diplomatic way of saying: just the rich

After it bottoms out, yeah.

But there's a saying: don't try to catch a Falling knife.

And this knife is still falling.

Because everyone knows, if it was allowed to happen in the past, we're not allowed to ever stop it from happening in the future ...

Except it was a lie EVEN DURING REAGAN'S term. He had to raise taxes multiple times to cover his own tax cuts. Guess who he raised them on? Everyone but the rich, who got to keep their cuts.

And even if we did, the Dipshit put tariffs on the raw materials any factories would need to actually make stuff. He literally made shit more expensive to make here.

Republican do conomy good

I cannot understand how this lie persists to this day. Republicans have trashed the economy in every single administration they had for at least the last half century. I'm an adult with children and my lifetime has not seen a Republican that was good for the economy...

Why do you think the example being trivial means that they all have to be trivial to apply? Examples are not all encompassing, nor do they seek to additional constraints that were not part of the definition.

The whole point of the fallacy is to disingenuously distance the group from acts that members of the group have done.
