This defeats a lot of purpose of lemmy

Thanks
I tested it but I'm not sure I like it, it doesn't display a bar and just has a slider which is really too quick for me. Also it doesn't override classic actions like touch controls or top swipes
Oh that's nice
It's been like that since a couple of major android versions I believe so yeah, and google not really caring for AOSP doesn't really give me a lot of hope
Already done! But it's a bit annoying that it can't be set to higher values if we want to
I believe Meta is worse than google with private data
At least Google makes something good out of it, sometimes, maybe
Meta and amazon don't really bring us anything good
I find that it heats up quite easily, maybe it's just that the pixel isn't super good. I'm on a 7a though
My bad
My instance could also hint at it ;)
One of the rare ones
True, that's what I often do
Sometimes it doesn't pick up some things, I believe it might also be related to the fact that the instance I'm on is recent, but it has previously allowed me to find some nice things so yeah, that's that
that's what I meant by cleaning contacts
Oh, that makes much more sense
I’m starting to believe it’s a mix of bad luck + they had some sort of design failure because we both had the same thing fail.
The contacts / charging pins / however you call them did get dirty and started to develop blue or green things on them? Can’t really remember what it was but it was a bit gross indeed.
I believe you’re using Android? On iOS, the 1MORE buds have additional problems, like the lowest volume level being too high or the app struggling to connect. Some of this still happens on Android from my tests but is much more reliable overall. Sound quality also seems to sound better, like more immersive, on Android
Battery saver is probably the most important step
But I'm surprised that the phone doesn't have a powerful processor/chip
