I've been musing over it since they made the RK3588 processor module for it. That's a much more widely used chip and there should be more documentation on it floating around. I just love the idea of open source hardware, and the replaceable battery cells are neat. I love the thick form factor too. I'm good with computers but I'm not a wizard or anything, which is my hesitation. I know the Reform NEXT is supposed to be more user friendly, but a framework is a more sensible option for a "normal" usecase. But it doesn't have the pizaaz the reform does.

 

I'm moreso curious if laptop functions have been offloaded to phones. If you have a full gaming desktop, do you see the use case for an additional laptop? or if most people here don't see the need for the increased processing power of a desktop, do you just use your laptop and a phone?

For myself, I mainly use my desktop, but I have a bunch of quite old laptops for tinkering.
