Thank you so much to those who came through.

I need to use medical-grade laundry disinfectant because I'm an immunocompromised cancer patient and recovering from surgery. I get a lot of infections, especially skin infections. On multiple occasions the skin infections have gotten so bad I've been hospitalised to treat them. The pharmacist recommended I use this laundry disinfectant and it's helped a lot.

I've posted a lot about my financial issues and why I can't afford to buy things for myself. I'm still waiting to find out about my disability benefits.

The disinfectant bottles are now £10.59 each. I need to order 4 to get free delivery. Either that or pay an extra £3.30 for postage. I need 2 bottles of this a month. According to the latest letter I received from the DWP, my appeal is expected to be heard in January. So I will need 14 bottles to see me through until then. Any help is appreciated, whether it's ordering and sending them to me or contributing to the cost.

Sorry to make another post so soon but I've got no-one else to ask.

I made a post asking someone to send me some laundry disinfectant. I need it because I'm an immunocompromised cancer patient and recovering from surgery. I get a lot of infections, especially skin infections. On multiple occasions the skin infections have gotten so bad I've been hospitalised to treat them. The pharmacist recommended I use this laundry disinfectant and it's helped a lot.

I haven't had any responses, maybe people find it too difficult to order it. The reason I prefer people to end me things instead of money is because if I win my disability benefit appeal I will have to explain any money going into my account to the DWP. But I am really getting desperate for this stuff. Perhaps someone would be more likely to respond if I put my paypal address after all.

I am posting on mutual aid but here too, as it sometimes takes multiple requests to get a response.

The DWP sent me a letter recently, estimating I won't hear about my disability benefits result until January.

I'm now recovered enough from my foot surgery to be able to wear shoes and walk a little, so either supermarket is fine as I don't need to order online any more. If anyone can help, please send a supermarket gift card to my email address, DisabledAceSocialist@hotmail.com

I am really grateful for any help.

The car has been repaired! And I've been able to start wearing shoes as my surgical wounds have healed. I'll still always have mobility problems because of my stroke but at least I am not completely trapped indoors any more.

Thanks so much to those who came through!

Thanks so much to those who helped.

I'm a stroke and thyroid cancer patient going through a disability benefits appeal, so can't afford to buy food. The food bank is difficult and time consuming to access, requiring a referral from a GP or citizens advice (and it can take weeks to get an appointment) and only gives things like tea, coffee, sugar and a small amount of bread and pasta. Never enough to last until I can get another appointment there. So I've been asking for help on here.

Because the DWP (British benefits system employees) will check my bank account if I win my benefit appeal, and I will have to explain any incoming money to them, it's safer for me to receive supermarket gift cards instead of cash where possible. I also have to use these gift cards for other basic items I need such as toilet paper. I usually ask for Sainsburys gift cards, but Sainsburys has had a few technical difficulties with its website for the past three weeks, and due to recovering from foot surgery I can't go and shop in-store right now.

The other supermarket close to me is Marks & Spencer. Someone gave me a Marks & Spencer gift card, my landlady goes to the local M&S café with her friends so she is able to pick up my shopping for me while she's there. She said the gift card was easy to use. In fact it turned out to be even easier than the Sainsburys gift cards as it didn't require use of the website or printing anything out.

I will need help accessing food for the foreseeable future until my appeal is heard, and sometimes it takes multiple posts to get a response, so if anyone is able to send me an M&S e-gift card, I would really appreciate it. It can be sent to my email address, DisabledAceSocialist@hotmail.com

I'm really grateful for any help, as well as the help I have received previously.

As always, if I win my benefit appeal I will have to explain any incoming money to the DWP. If anyone is able to contribute, please write a note in the box indicating that it's a gift from a friend/relative, as I am legally allowed to receive occasional gifts.

I'm in the middle of a disability benefit appeal, and so need to ask for help whenever there is something I need to buy. I've posted this on mutual aid but no response yet and it's sometimes hard to get a response there.

I'm still recovering from my last foot surgery two weeks ago. I thought I could make the remaining bandages from last time last long enough for this time too, but I'm nearly out, and the wounds aren't healed and are still oozing. I need at least a few weeks supply of bandages. I also need more iodine as the surgical site on the right foot is infected.

Because I have to keep the surgical sites and bandages dry I've been wearing waterproof shower boots, but they are letting water in, and if possible I need a new pair, as well as more waterproof shoe covers to wear in place of shoes (shoes are painful right now and rub against the surgical sites.)

I also need some basic toiletries, from shampoo to dental items to laundry disinfectant (helps keep surgical sites clean to disinfect clothes). Previously I've asked people to order items and send them to me but I know it can be difficult and frustrating ordering from various different websites and making sure everything is right, if anyone is willing to I would be grateful, but all of these items are available on amazon so I thought if anyone could send me an amazon gift card I could just order them myself.

The amazon site sells them but you might have to have a UK amazon account to buy one that I can use.

I would be extremely grateful for any help, whether it's a gift card or ordering items directly.

Sorry to make another request for help so soon, but I don't have any choice. Last week I had an appointment and while I was out I lost my purse. So this week I've been cancelling all the cards and ordering replacements. All the replacements will be free except my two travel cards. I have a disabled person's concessionary bus pass, which is free but if you lose it they charge £10 for a replacement. Also my ferry pass which is £20 for a replacement.

The loss of the purse has been reported but it has not been found or handed in.

I need these travel passes because I can't drive due to being partially sighted and I can't get around easily without them due to having had a stroke. Without them I can't attend hospital appointments or go anywhere. One hospital is accessible by bus and another is easier to get to by ferry.

This is just my usual monthly post asking if anyone could help me out with a sainsburys voucher so I can keep eating until I find out about my benefits. If anyone is able and willing I created a new email address so I don't have to publish my personal one again, I had a couple of trolls and security issues using my real identity. It's

I sometimes also need to make separate posts asking people to buy me things whenever I need something else (like sanitary pads, laundry disinfectant, dental supplies, etc). Some of the things I need aren't available from sainsburys and it would also eat into the sainsburys gift cards, which wouldn't leave me enough for food. So if anyone would be willing to send me an amazon gift card so I can just buy these things for myself in future, instead of having to keep asking for extra help, I would be really grateful.

I'm having trouble getting the medical care I need and I just wondered if anyone knows my rights or what to do about it.

A few months ago the endocrinologist lowered my thyroxine dose as she said the high dose was putting me at risk of another stroke. However over the past few months I've become more and more unwell on this lower dose. I'm so tired I can barely do anything, so brain foggy I can't concentrate on anything, my cardiac symptoms have significantly worsened, my mood is much worse - I feel more depressed and frustrated than before, along with a load of other symptoms. These are all symptoms of my thyroxine dose being too low. However since then the endo has discharged me, so I can't get any help from there, at least not without spending another year on the waiting list and I can't wait that long.

I can't get a GP appointment either, it's impossible. They no longer give appointments in advance, they tell you to phone or come to the surgery at 8.30am and ask for an appointment. I have done this multiple times and there are always so many other people clamouring for an appointment that by the time I've been on hold on the phone or waited in line at the surgery (even if I turn up before 8.30) by the time I get to the front of the queue all the appointments are already gone. This has been happening for a while, even before these thyroid issues started again, when I've tried to get GP appointments for other issues it's been impossible and I've given up. But I can't give up on this, it's too severe.

People here may remember I ended up writing a letter to the doctor when I was having issues with my other meds because it was the only way to contact them, it took weeks for a response. I can't write a letter about this and wait weeks, I need help now.

I don't know what else to do, I am so desperate and frustrated. Why is it so hard to get medical help now?

I'm still waiting to hear about what's happening with my disability benefits. As mentioned on here previously, I've recently had foot surgery and have another coming up next month. The surgical sites got infected several times after surgery so I need to do everything I can to keep the areas clean. I need some laundry disinfectant. It helps to keep my foot infections and eczema-related skin infections from spreading too much. It's called Eradicil and it's available on amazon and from the manufacturer's own site, which takes credit and debit cards and can be ordered from internationally:

https://www.eradicil.com/order-eradicil

https://www.amazon.co.uk/ERADICIL-Antifungal-Laundry-Treatment-200ml/dp/B01HH23NYI

This site is more expensive but they take credit, debit, paypal and google pay:

https://footformula.co.uk/products/eradicil-antifungal-laundry-wash

I really need some sanitary pads, and the Cottons brand are the only ones that don't give me an allergic reaction. This site takes credit and debit cards, paypal and google pay. Shipping is free over £30. You don't need an account, and can checkout as a guest:

https://uk.iherb.com/pr/cottons-organic-overnight-pads-with-wings-heavy-unscented-10-pads/98324?gclsrc=3p.ds

I also need some dental care supplies, which are available on amazon, and from Boots.com which takes debit/credit card, paypal and apple pay:

https://www.boots.com/

If anyone is able to help with any of these things, please PM me. I can't accept actual money because it could get me in trouble with the DWP (British benefit nazis who check bank accounts to make sure we don't have any money coming in.) So I was hoping someone could order what I need, anything off the list, and just have it sent directly to me. I have made a post on mutual aid but it's often hard to get a response on there.

But don't they weed out biased people from juries? Before accepting someone onto a jury they'd ask "do you have a grudge against health insurance companies," or something.
