Before the 60s, in most Catholic societies, writing with your left hand was seen as a sign of the devil and unchristian. It was thus punished very often. I heard stories in Québec (Canada) where people would be beaten their left hand until there was blood with a wooden ruler. It’s frankly horrible and someone I know did show her scars from being beaten so often.

Oui francophone, mais on peut être bilingue si y’a assez de gens qui sont intéressé. Mais je vais personnellement poster en français à 99%. Si tu es intéressé de rejoindre la communauté, ça super super chouette. : )

I live in the mtl suburbs and I very rarely hear quebecers. Even Anglo people say québécois

C’est vrai, quebecers always sounds wrong to me for some reason. Québécois is the original, so idk I think it should just be québécois in English without any translations

It’s awful. I’d love to see a system closer to Germany’s

This lunatic is a danger for the world. He is an unelected unaccountable person with the power of the presidency. It’s terrifying.

Whatever the polls say, go vote. It’s important. Every vote matters.

Proportional representation is a NEED at this point. Our democracy is flawed without it because of the misrepresentation of FPTP.

Urgh disgusting. Glad to see the EU and Canada step up now more than ever.
