Precisely, a lot of us left that horrible place to escape all the rampant transphobia and persecution they have over there. We don't need their kind of "content" mirrored here. My first thing I'm going to do when they allow us to block instances is to immediately block those that have mostly repost bots.

I think Lemmy as a whole should forbid any links from Reddit just protect everyone here. Is it censorship? Yes, but it's for a good cause.

Because almost everyone on that site is a toxic piece of transphobic shit. There's only so many kinds of microaggressions you can take every day before you decide to move to someplace else. I wish society would deal with places like that and throw people in jail that enable these assholes to be like that.

Well, sometimes she is a bit overprotective, once she punched someone who wasn't respecting my pronouns LOL.

If you do, that's social anxiety, not introversion. It's attempts like these that make life for us introverts so hard, because everybody thinks we have that condition when in reality, we just need less socialization. A majority of us are socially functional.

Just because you have one condition doesn't mean you can go around appropriating and encroaching on others identities, that's hella offensive.

If I tell my partner that something drains the color out of a room, she knows that whomever I'm talking to is a bigot/phobe and we leave. More often than not though, she'll ask me who it is and tell them off.

I'm so tired of people with social anxiety always trying to appropriate introversion. Introverts don't have that kind of phobia of personal interaction.
