When I look at countries top imports/exports it is wild to me how much of the western world economy is just based on cars. And when I think about what a car is -- transportation -- I realize that the whole economy is based on putting things people need at inconvenient distances so that someone can profit off of the transportation required to get to those things.

Performance culture: The federal workforce should be comprised of the best America has to offer. We will insist on excellence at every level — our performance standards will be updated to reward and promote those that exceed expectations and address in a fair and open way those who do not meet the high standards which the taxpayers of this country have a right to demand.

God I hate this so much. It's so tech bro coded. Every implementation of performance culture I've seen has been a huge clusterfuck, but since some people think they are "high performers" they accept it without question

Democrats committing political suicide is good. That party is a dead end and hurts left wing movements by diverting them.

I can't wait for the day some libsky user understands the difference between a leftist and liberal

My theory is under capitalism we've raised a generation of failsons who were badly educated, but because of their wealth, have significant impact over financial markets. These failsons all want to invest in flashy things and Tesla/Musk is the perfect magnet for that. It's a little idealist, but I feel you need to be idealist to explain why Tesla is completely divorced from its material reality.

am i wrong here to think hell fucking no and go fuck yourself?

Nah you right.

But actually I think we need to look at the material conditions more closely because, in my eyes, property taxes are a reform of the system and dont do anything to resolve the inherent contradictions of private property. So its something that is very easy to attack from both sides since its bandaid solution.

I remember this being a big thing before Obama got elected. And then it didn't happen and no one brought it up again.

Yea it's stupid, but I have faith in the CPC to reign them in if what they do starts being counter-productive
