Yup. Projected in Oakland.

Crypto is a Ponzi scheme that burns the world. Tech bros froth at the idea of greenwashing their scam by saying it is solarpunk. No.

Relax. EV’s really are the best choice for auto-industry executives.

A reminder that oil companies invented “carbon footprint” to distract you while they continue to pollute. Form unions and solidarity networks to overcome harmful systems. Don’t argue over hamburgers.

The article goes on to say this is the fucking regressive and illegitimate Supreme Court’s fault. US citizens should write to the DoJ to investigate those corrupt bastards. The Senate can also do this.

“Transport, especially car use, is a major factor in the sky-high emissions of the richest 10%, with these emissions 20-40 times higher than the transport emissions of the poorest 10% in the countries analysed.” This is why EV’s are anything but a solution to the climate crisis.

EV’s are capitalism’s solution to the climate crisis. In other words, they are worthless, except to car-manufacture executives. Invest in public transportation and bike accessibility.

No lies detected.

The climate crisis ruins everything.

[–] AEMarling@slrpnk.net 3 points 11 months ago

This is why capitalism has to go. EV’s are capitalism’s solution to the climate crisis, and they are no solution at all.

This is a year before the next presidential election. It’s important to be critical of lesser evils, to force them to work for you. Specifically, this week at APEC, Biden will likely make economic decisions that could cause decades of damage, exploiting oil and labor reserves in Asian countries. Now is the time to call him out and the system as a whole.
