Hear me out when the history channel stopped showing actual historical documentaries and started with all this alien bible bs back in the early 2000s that’s when the world went to shit. Boomers should be ww2, Great Depression, guilded age, civil rights movement, civil war and Vietnam era experts like the silent generation was instead this complete bilge brainwashed them into being morons that know nothing about anything except made up garbage and now they all vote for dumb shit

Nothing good happened in that time period:
- .com crash and the lost decade
- 9/11 and the TSA/Patriot Act nonsense that followed
- Bush, and the start of Iraq and Afghanistan wars
- Dreamcast discontinued, and Sega drops out of the console market (duopoly ensues)
And of course History, Discovery, etc turning to utter crap.
They switched off the educational content on Discovery, History channel, TLC, Animal planet, around 2000
BBC Earth was good until about few years ago. Then it all went to reality channel shit show.
