As mentioned previously, this lineup of ‘Neu with Florian Schneider’ was active for eight months in 1971, while Hütter finished his architecture studies. They gave a few live performances, notably in Köln.

This bootleg recording includes, first, the ‘Rückstoss Gondoliere’ improvisation at the Beat Club tv/radio program on May 22 1971 — also sometimes incorrectly listed as ‘Truckstop Gondolero’ thanks to someone's mishearing.

Then, there are three tracks from June 12 1971 in Köln, giving some perspective on what Kraftwerk could be like with Neu's members in it. Particularly, the yet another version of ‘Ruckzuck’ here is quite different from that recorded or performed by Kraftwerk proper (and three times longer than the album version).

Tracklist:

  • 00:00 Rückstoss Gondoliere
  • 11:03 Vom Himmel hoch
  • 27:27 Stratovarius
  • 33:23 Ruckzuck
