As my city's official occupation finally kicks off, and I'm supposed to be intimidated into believing a fascist takeover in anyway aligns with the American values this country was supposed to represent, I've found myself on a bit of a patriotic kick. I'm taking it back. If you don't like it, too fucking bad. This is America.
If you don't agree with me, good. This is America. We're not supposed to be a homogenous gaggle of goose-stepping fascists who think everybody has to fall in line and agree with a temporary leader.
If you agree we're not supposed to be homogenous group-thinking goose-steppers, but you also don't want to wave an American flag around and be an obnoxious asshole like myself, good. Your values make you as American as anybody else, and there's no reason you should have to prove anything to the unpatriotic gooses-steppers.
