I’d like to rely less on my phone so that I don’t do the ritual where as soon as I wake up I’m doomscrooling on my phone, do you know of any cool, minimalist but with some features alarm clock out there?

I feel like people didn't understand me last time so I'll try to be more specific. I don't have an old phone, actually my phone is currently broke so I don't have one at all. I don't want an F-droid app, and I don't want to buy a physical alarm, I'd like and app that some more functionalities, like maybe setting more than one alarm or naming them and some theming, etc.

I don't want a physical one because I don't want to spend any money and because I want it to have just a few more features that would be covered my simply being an app instead of a smart watch or whatever, plus it forces me to go from my bed to my desk, helping me get out, instead of hitting it on the night desk.

So what you are looking for is an alarm clock for PC? And online.

I can't help with that, we are polar opposites in that regard, those requirements are everything I don't want in an alarm clock. For the past few weeks I've been considering to not use my phone anymore for that and start using again my old wind up alarm clock.

I'm assuming you want to run this locally on your PC - with some HTML, CSS and JavaScript you can make one yourself. Here are a few examples:

Its a fairly common test app to make, so if you search for something like "HTML alarm clock" you should find a bunch of options. You can then style it with CSS and HTML as you please.

You probably shall not ask the same question twice in such a short duration. It wastes server resource and reader's time on duplicated material.

Have you tried searching on the internet? "Is there an open source alarm program" is not a question. It's a query, which you should just input into Google and such. If it finds nothing good for you, we won't either. We're not better than search engines.

Imagine every one just makes a post with "Is there an open source XYZ program?" but with "XYZ" replaced with a random feature, this community would become a garbage collection site in one day. I'm sure that is not what you want to see either. Please don't do that.

However, as a community, we're happy to discuss a project that is already open source, or a closed source program about to get open sourced.

Writing your own program, and potentially if you're considering making it open source? Great. There are programming communities too. Also try website like StackOverflow.

what operating system are you using? windows literally already has the clock app screenshot of windows 10 alarms and since it's the worst OS i'm sure all the other ones do too.
