I played Dishonored for the first time two years ago. One of the few games I've played right through to the end. Started in on the second one a couple months later, but it just didn't keep my interest long. Should give it another chance, along with a dozen other games I need to go back to eventually...

This remains a favorite. 1 & 2. Of course, corporate dissolved the studio.
I preferred Prey, but Dishonored was pretty good
1st one was really good but the 2nd one didn't click with me.
It's a good game but it's nothing spectacular.

I think the main problem is it was the last real entry into the genre that did anything interesting.
