I've been torrenting since I was a kid and never used a VPN - UK-based.

Only once did I receive a letter from my ISP stating that I had torrented 'Suits'—just a warning.

Am I a fool for not using one now? I assume that it will throttle my download speeds.

I am asking because I now have my own place and a mini cinema system. I constantly pirate from a private tracker.
