I've heard you can minimize risk by having multiple fitted sheets on your bed at once. Just strip off the top sheet, add to laundry hamper, sleep on the newly revealed clean sheet.

I don't do that because I don't use sheets. I sleep in a hammock and just swap between two hammocks when they need washing.

Dog got sick on the sheet and the dryer is broken. I've slept on that bare ass mattress for two days so far. Dryer is supposed to be replaced today but I'll be to drained after 10 hours at work to do wash.

Executive disfunction has prevented me from getting another sheet before this happened.

I'm going to do it but only because I want to and not because you called me out

This is why you find a partner who can compensate for your dysfunction.

I have never done this, and I've been on long term sick leave for 15 years due to my executive disfunction/action paralysis. I have gone months without changing bedclothes but not once taken them off without having clean ones to put on at the same time. I'm pretty sure this is a problem from something else and not what's stated.

Lmao, currently sat in my bed that's had no sheets for 2 days.

Just wash the pillowcases and not the sheets

ur

Remember when people wrote with words? Remember when 'ur' saved some time if you were lazy and on pre-T9 typing?

[–] Stamets@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 6 days ago

I understood what was being said. Is it how I would have typed it? No. Is it legible? Yes. Did I understand what was being said? Yes.

Remember when I cared? Because I don't.
