Vince Gilligan, the creator of Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, is jumping into sci-fi with the Apple TV series Pluribus.

It's clear to me that Gilligan has a story to tell, what I wonder is how many seasons he thinks it's going to take to tell.

With Breaking Bad I think he had an idea, and that idea grew and developed slowly, season by season, until eventually he knew where it was ending.

Similarly with Better Call Saul the first season seemed like a trial run. If he only got one season, season one tells you everything, while leaving things open if he got the chance to tell more. After season one he knows he has the full run, so the story is paced appropriately.

With Pluribus, I just want to know if this is a one shot miniseries, or five seasons. I'm happy with either or anything in-between or otherwise, I just want to know.
