I think it might have been released to some capacity, but Metric made a song called Black Sheep but they didn't release it because they didn't like that it sounded "to much like Metric". This song was redone for the movie Scott Pilgrim VS. the World, where they had Brie Larson sing the lyrics.

Its actually a banger song. Regardless of appreciation.
This is the version I know. Definitely a banger song
The version of Sugar High used in Empire Records with a female vocalist.
The scene in Dune Part One where the Bene Gesserit arrive on Caladan has an amazing score but itβs not in the official soundtrack.
At the end of the Strange New Worlds musical episode, after the curse is broken, thereβs a cover of the TOS theme that didnβt make it onto the album.
I haven't been able to find a full version of the cover of "I Have a Dream" that Black Mirror used in Fifteen Million Merits. Better than ABBA's version IMO.
Bastille did a cover of Happy Together that was used in a Toyota ad, but there's no release of the full song
Angel - Raphael Sadeeq Its a hidden last track on vinyl edition. Appears in Luke Cage.
Cat Power sang a short cover of Space Odyssey for a car commercial. It never got released into a full cover and it kills me to know it may never see release.
