The "Hamas mass SA" narrative has been debunked so many times, including when the UN itself found no evidence, and yet the UN STILL listed Hamas on the list of groups using SA as a weapon and did not list the IDF (who actually have been shown to do this). I sometimes question if this shit is really "projection" or more just "compartmentalization". Like these people can't grapple with the fact they're awful, so they either ignore it or dream up some bizzaro justification for when they do it, but also morally condemn others they suspect doing it.
Nick Mullen in one of his "not doing a bit" rant also had a theory some of these people get what they're doing is fucked up, don't like that about themselves but also don't have the willpower to stop so try and compensate by condemning others for it.
