God damn i wish i didn't listen to his stupid fucking policy podcast during my insufferable liberal phase.

I can hear it perfectly with his smug little affectation

I can't remember if I've ever heard his voice before. I don't think so. But if I hear him and I'm wrong - I'm sure the forgotten memory will attack me like remembering what sulfur smells like.

I just assume he sounds like Gilbert Gottfried.

An unfunny, pedant Gilbert Gottfried - yikes.

I'm trying to think of religious populations that NYC wouldn't lead the nation in. I think it's pretty much just Mormons and Amish aside from indigenous religions if you're not counting fringe sects.

theres gotta be more buddhists in Hawaii or the West Coast i think

For any specific city? I doubt it. NYC is twice the population of LA, and even has it's own famous Chinese community.

i think i saw a map like 10 years ago which seemed to imply there were more LaVey Satanists in Boston than anywhere else in the US, but it could have been a bit.

Always funny when republicans trot out how just like a dozen new york cities could decide the vote by themselves, as if there's a dozen nycs in the country. Or any country but China.

It's larger than the next two or three cities in the list combined.

New York is a big city, inhabited by many New Yorkers.

Lmfao. What an aesthetically off putting but accurate meme.

I'm not much for Wojak but I do particularly <3 that one. It never fails to make me smile.

New York is the Jerusalem, Rome and Mecca of America

This is one of the least stupid things Matty Glacias has ever said

Edit: I misread the post, ignore this

It's not larger than any other American city

(X) doubt

I'd be surprised if any city other than LA can rival it by population.

Yup, looked it up. #1 by population is NYC, LA is second with less than half the population. It's not even close. Chicago is third with only 2/3rd the population of LA. It's so laughably not close. Do libs ever do research?

[–] casskaydee@hexbear.net 2 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Not defending yglesias but he said "a lot bigger".

[–] SwitchyandWitchy@hexbear.net 2 points 1 week ago

Omg that's embarrasing, yeah I misread that completely.
